USO Room Reservation Program – USO Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
Thank you for your interest in hosting your unit or organization’s function at the USO Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Please read through our Rules & Regulations and Disclaimers before submitting your request.
Our Space
The Auditorium is 50 feet long by 45 feet wide and can hold up 150 people. The amenities of the space include 130 chairs, 20 six-feet tables, wireless microphones, a Bluetooth enabled sound system, Wi-Fi, an 86-inch TV screen for presentations, and ceremonial flags of all branches of services.
Rules & Regulations
The USO Auditorium is available Tuesday through Friday during normal USO operation hours of 9AM-7PM on a strict first come, first serve basis.
Your party is fully responsible for setting up the space and returning it to how you found it at the conclusion of the event including: setting up tables and chairs, taking down tables and chairs, and sweeping the space. USO staff and volunteers will not be able to assist you with this due to limited staffing.
All events must have at least 75% currently serving (Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve) service members and/or dependents in attendance. All military and dependents in attendance must check in on the USO kiosks when entering the Center for your event.
Retirees are considered military civilians and count towards the 25% civilian allowance. Civilian or contractor guests are permitted to enter as event guests only and count toward the 25% civilian allowance.
Primary or secondary POC must be currently serving military.
Reservations must be submitted at least 10 business days in advance and can be made up to 60 days in advance from today’s date.
Reservations cannot exceed TWO (2) consecutive days.
Users/events are limited to two bookings per week.
Reservations may only be made for official unit or organization event/function requests. Ineligible functions include (but are not limited to):
Birthday/graduation parties
Baby showers
Wedding receptions
Cub scouts, girl scouts, etc.
Fundraising, collection, or sales events of any nature
Competing non-profit programming
Events of a political or religious nature
Per DoD Policy as of January 31, 2025: events or celebrations related to cultural awareness months such as National African American/Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage Month, Pride Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and National American Indian Heritage Month. In accordance with this policy, this also includes celebration or events that celebrate a group of people identified by race, gender or identity.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted at the USO. However, we do not have a kitchen space or refrigerator for leftovers. All food items brought into the USO center must also leave with you. Please note that due to the high volume of requests we receive, we are not able to supply paper products (plates, napkins, silverware, cups, etc.) for events.
Alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited on USO grounds.
Individuals/Units/Organizations that fail to adhere to the above policies will not be permitted to reserve a space at the USO in the future.
Disclaimers
Staff will review all room reservations. The Room Reservation Program is free and designed to support our military community. If your organization or event doesn’t meet USO requirements or align with the Room Reservation Program’s purpose, your reservation will be canceled, and you’ll be notified by email.
The USO Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is a volunteer-operated, non-profit organization - that will strive to meet your needs. However, please ensure you have a contingency plan for your Audio/Visual in case our system goes offline. In addition, please ensure you have a back-up venue for your event in case our location becomes unavailable due to USO operations and programming as we strive to meet the evolving needs of the military.

You will be required to create a login with an email, phone number, and password. This will enable you to manage your own booking.
